Solbari is the business name, and references to "we," "us," and/or "our" throughout solbari.com.au ("the website") are to Sun Protection Apparel Pty Ltd (Solbari).

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users, including both users who are simply viewing the web site and users who are purchasing goods through the web site. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as making a purchase signifies acceptance of these terms.

If you enter any prize competitions or other promotions on the Services, separate terms and conditions may also apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

All users must accept these Terms and Conditions if viewing the website and making purchases.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Every transaction is governed by the Terms and Conditions in place at the time of the transaction. These Terms and Conditions were last modified on 9 October, 2026.

Solbari Products

Face covers and sun hats that cover the mouth are not specifically designed to prevent the transmission of airborne illnesses or viruses.

Solbari products comply with the following standards:

  • AS/NZS 4399:1966
  • AS 4399:2020
  • ASTM D6544-2012
  • ASTM D6603-2012
  • AATCC 183-2014

The UPF 50+ rating is for the fabric and does not address the amount of protection afforded by the garment design. Manipulations such as stretching and sewing may lower the UPF of the material. Articles designed to cover the maximum area of the body are recommended.

The protection offered by this item may be lessened:

  • At points where the fabric is in close contact with the skin, such as across the shoulders
  • If the fabric is stretched
  • If the fabric is wet
  • With time, due to the effects of normal wear

The fabric composition of Solbari fabrics do not always present optimal surfaces for adhering aesthetic embellishments such as logo transfers. When placed under repeated usage, logos may crack or discolour, however this does not reflect any deterioration in the function of the product or its UPF 50+ rating.

We do not take any legal responsibility if these guidelines turn out to be incorrect at any point.

Solbari sun hats and umbrellas do not provide protection against reflected or scattered ultraviolet radiation.

Colours

Colours depicted should be used as a guide only, as some fabrics and materials may appear different depending on lighting conditions resulting in colour variations shown on the website.

Delivery

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure correct delivery address details are provided at the time of placing the order. The customer is responsible for the importation of products into their country and must obey the regulations concerning customer requirements.

Free Shipping Offer

Free shipping offer applies to orders over $100 AUD or NZD after discount applied. Offer is valid on orders placed via www.solbari.com.au & www.solbari.co.nz and for deliveries to Australian and New Zealand addresses only.
If you are shopping in a currency other than AUD, your order is first converted to AUD to check eligibility for the above shipping threshold. We use a currency conversion rate in line with current market rates.

Discount Codes

To redeem an offer during an offer period, enter the advertised discount code into the promo code box during checkout. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with another offer. The offer excludes gift cards or previous orders.

Promotional codes are for transactions on solbari.com.au and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. The sum or percentage discount will be reduced from the order total excluding shipping costs.

Your Spring Rewards Promotion

Discount available on eligible orders of $100AUD or more placed between 29 September 2026 and 11 October 2026. Minimum spend threshold applies after discounts and before shipping. Summer Sale Up to 35% Off Selected Styles

The Solbari Summer Sale is valid from 24 January 2026 on solbari.com.au / solbari.co.nz only. Up to 35% off on selected "Summer Sale" items for a limited time only. Prices are as marked online. The offer is not redeemable for cash and is subject to our general Terms and Conditions. The offer cannot be redeemed against a prior purchase and is not valid for the purchase of gift cards. All "Final Sale" items are final sale and will not be eligible for return, exchange or online vouchers unless deemed faulty. By purchasing a "Final Sale" item, you agree that the item cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Solbari reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time without notice.

Sun Smart Summer Escape Competition - Terms & Conditions

Promoter 

The Promoter is Sun Protection Apparel Pty Ltd ("Solbari" or "Promoter"). 

Promotion Period 

The competition commences at 12:00am AEDT on Friday, 2 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday, 18 October 2026 ("Promotional Period"). 

Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted. 

Eligibility 

Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or over. 

Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter and any organisations associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. 

How to Enter 

To enter the promotion, eligible entrants must, during the Promotional Period: 

Complete the competition entry form; and 

Subscribe to receive Solbari marketing communications via email; or 

If already subscribed to Solbari marketing communications, submit the competition entry form and update their contact details by adding their mobile phone number and/or birthday. 

No purchase is necessary to enter. 

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. 

Marketing Communications Requirement 

By entering the promotion, entrants consent to receiving marketing and promotional communications from Solbari. 

To remain eligible for the prize draw, entrants must remain actively subscribed to Solbari email marketing communications from the time of entry until the prize draw is conducted on Monday, 26 October 2026. 

Any entrant who unsubscribes from Solbari marketing communications before the draw date will have their entry automatically deemed invalid and will not be eligible to win. 

Entrants may unsubscribe from future marketing communications at any time after the winner has been drawn. 

Prize 

One (1) winner will receive a prize package valued at AUD $5,000, comprising: 

One (1) Solbari voucher valued at AUD $2,000 

One (1) Luxury Escapes voucher valued at AUD $2,000 

One (1) JULY voucher valued at AUD $1,000 

Total prize value: AUD $5,000. 

The prize and all vouchers included in the prize package are not transferable, cannot be resold and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Voucher use is subject to the respective issuer's terms and conditions. 

Prize Draw 

The draw will take place on Monday, 26 October 2026 at the Promoter's offices. 

The winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. 

Prior to awarding the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to verify that the selected entrant remains subscribed to Solbari marketing communications in accordance with Clause 5. 

If the selected entrant is found to be ineligible, including because they have unsubscribed from Solbari marketing communications before the draw date, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and draw a new winner from the remaining eligible entries. 

Winner Notification 

The winner will be notified via email and/or telephone within five (5) business days of the draw. 

The winner may be requested to provide proof of identity, age and residency before the prize is awarded. 

Unclaimed Prize 

If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw from the remaining eligible entrants. 

Privacy 

By entering the promotion, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter will collect and use their personal information for the purposes of: 

administering the promotion; 

contacting entrants in relation to the promotion; 

maintaining customer records; and 

sending marketing and promotional communications from Solbari. 

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Solbari's Privacy Policy. 

General Conditions 

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who: 

tampers with the entry process; 

submits an incomplete, misleading or fraudulent entry; 

breaches these Terms & Conditions; or 

engages in any unlawful or improper conduct in connection with the promotion. 

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. 

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or the acceptance or use of the prize. 

The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Acceptance of Terms 

By entering this promotion, entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

Refunds, Returns, and Cancellations

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Due to hygiene reasons, returns or exchanges are not accepted on items that cover the face and mouth.
  • All swimwear should be tried on over underwear without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns will not be accepted if the strip is removed or if the item has been worn.
  • If an umbrella manufacturing fault occurs within the first 6 months of purchase, an exchange or refund of your original item will be provided

  • Solbari does guarantee the availability to cancellations or amendment of orders.
  • Our return and exchange policy is 30 days from when you receive the goods.
  • Returned goods will only be accepted if they are in their original condition, which means unworn and unwashed with all original tags still in place. If we deem that the good is not in its original condition, the customer will not receive a refund or exchange and the good will be sent back to the customer. 
  • All exchanges are final and cannot be returned for a refund or further exchange. Order must be paid for in full prior to delivery.
  • Should you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 5 business days of delivery. We will assess the item and if deemed damaged on arrival or faulty, will provide a replacement where possible or exchange.
  • We do not accept responsibility for parcels that are misplaced after they have been delivered and signed for.
  • We do not accept responsibility for returned goods that get lost in transit. We recommend that you send your returns using a recorded or signed for service post and that you retain proof of postage.
  • Dispatch and delivery dates are provided as a guide only. We take no responsibility for any failure to deliver products within the expected delivery time.
  • Refunds or cancellations will not be allowed if the shipment arrival times exceed the estimated times.
  • All refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Costs of delivery, if any, will not be included in the refund.
  • All eligible orders placed during our Black Friday sale period come with an extended returns and exchanges window of 45 days.
