"I’m a retired lady and enjoy gardening. I live in Louisiana where the sun is intense. This hat does a great job of keeping the sun off my face. The side vents help keep the heat from building up on my head, and the long back flap keeps the sun off my neck. I also use it on the go and it folds up nicely in my purse for my walk from the parking lot to the store."

"I bought this hat to use in the garden. I have rosacea that is worse in the heat so I was looking for something that’s protective and reasonably cool. This hat fits well, it’s lightweight and the neck shade makes more of a difference than I expected. The downward tilt of the brim is helpful for shading my eyes as well as less likely to get caught in foliage, unlike the hardware store hat I’ve been using. I also found the adjustable strap was helpful for keeping it in place in the wind. I’m glad I bought it."
